Signs your body is running on Stress hormones:
-You struggle to fall asleep, and have your best sleep right before it's time to wake up.
-You're always tapping your foot, bumping your leg up and down, or you grind your teeth.
-You can't watch a movie without scrolling your phone.
-You find it hard to focus while people are talking to you, and you often 'zone out'.
-You find it hard to stay sober even though you want to.
-You can't read a book, or retain much new information.
-Road rage, rage at family/spouse, and it takes a long time for you to "calm down" this is where you may turn to alcohol or food binges.
-You wake at 2.30am or 3am either with anxiety, or to urinate (or both)
-Body type will be: Thin all over, or thin with a large belly (sometimes you will gain weight all over if you also have other Hormonal imbalances)
Incidentally - these are all symptoms of ADHD, which is a hyper adrenaline state.
The most important things to do if you have these symptoms are to support your Adrenal Glands, lower adrenaline and balance cortisol.
