My top 8 non-food/exercise tips to get you to your body & health goals

Here are my top 8 non-food/exercise tips to get you to your body & health goals:

1. Daily meditation. The game-changer. I know that I would not have reached my health and weight goals without this daily practice to bring me closer to myself. To go within daily is a special homage to one's soul, and will help improve your life in many ways. It doesn't have to be fancy or complicated. I just listen to meditation music in my bed every morning when I wake up for 15 mins as part of my "miracle morning"

2. Visualisation. If you can't picture it - you can't create it! Can you picture yourself, your health and weight goals and living that life? Who are you? What do you eat and wear? What is your routine? Write it down. If you have an inspirational pic then put it where you will see it regularly. Make a vision board if you feel inspired! Clothes, jewellery, bikini, food - everything that embodies the person you are becoming.

3. Make a plan! A goal without a plan doesn't ever materalise! Have your goal and write down your action steps to make it happen! Put a timeline on it. Wishy washy plans get wishy washy results. Are you really going to wait until the new year to put this into place?

4. Therapy or coaching. If you have a pattern of self sabotage - I know I did - Hello bottle of wine every night - Working through your triggers, trauma, unresolved issues can greatly help you clear your sabotages. But only if you are ready - things can get messy in the healing process, but worth it on the other side, and one of the best things I did before I was ready to start my health journey.

5. Be careful what you say about yourself with your 'inner voice'. Be honest- how much do you shit-talk yourself every day, and does that help or hinder you reaching your goals? Do you judge yourself harshly? Do you think your body is ugly or broken? The words you say internally to yourself have power and healing your relationship with yourself around this can be so freeing. The first step is to notice you are doing it! Meditation and therapy are so helpful for this.

6. Go to bed earlier! This one is self-explanatory. Do you really need to look on Facebook or watch TV before bed? NO! It does not add value to your life, and in many cases, it takes away from it. Go to bed earlier, and wake up earlier so you have time to meditate.

7. Be grateful for the body you have, and practice self love and self acceptance. This will give you the impetus to slowly and lovingly work towards your goals.

8. If you are not already alcohol free - Go 60 days with no alcohol and you will see your overall health improve greatly. Plus, your mindset, sleep and stress levels will be lower, and body goals will be easier to achieve.

I hope this helps you in some way
